Week 5 Results

Strauss vs. Gingras
60-44
I've been told this Strauss team doesn't win pretty, well that seemed like a pretty game to me. Team Gingras didn't play like a team that lost by 17, it was more of just great ball movement and true team play from Team Strauss that led them to the win. Also S/O to Om Naik who got on the scoreboard today and his best game so far this season.

Manzi vs. Meyers
61-27
I mean was anyone expecting any different? Maybe less a blowout, but when a winless team without a few of their players and an almost fully loaded undefeated team matchup, this is usually what the score looks like.

Booth vs. Bernard/Hastings
36-32
At halftime coach after a 10 point deficit Coach Booth told me "It's okay we're always better in the second half" and she wasn't wrong. They battled back and tied it up with two minutes left. Team Bernard though stayed calm and composed and through some really strong hustle plays, were able to stop the comeback kids from a comeback.

TeDuits/Estes vs. Hecht
54-28
The Dan DeBinder loss was really big for Team Hecht. It really wasn't the exciting team we've seen for the past two weeks so I'm hoping they can find their mojo back. As for Team TeDuits/Estes, they really played a solid game top to bottom. This is exactly what they needed to turn things around.

Zolomon vs. O'Wiley
65-59 (OT)
Easily the game of the year to this point. O'Wiley came back from 13 points down to send this game into overtime. Then Sam Budreau decided he wasn't done going off in regulation and went off a little more in overtime. Team Zolomon played a far better game than last week, but in the end Team O'Wiley gutted it out

Southwick vs. McNamara
54-42
Wasn't able to see this game, but from all indications Elias really balled out and ran away with this one. McNamara seemed to be improving but they got bested to solid team this week.
