Scores: Week 2

Not too many surprises on Saturday. Note that I updated the standings on the sidebar, as well as the picks for the three Sunday games. As always leave a comment or two below...

Jarboe 55 Fotino 54
-Modzelewski, Wolfe, and Markham combined for 45, while Hurst, Devarenne, and Denomme led the way for Team Fotino (yes I took that from the comment section). Miles Markham has been a big surprise up to this point for Team Jarboe.
Hill 53 MacLeod 42
-Even with Tynan MacLeod and Hunter Lambert it wasn't enough. Rumor has it that there were quite a lot of fouls in this game...
Stewart 43 Debreceni 32
-The strategy of Burkholz covering McEvoy and Robinson doubling on the post was effective enough to slow down Dustin and allow for Team Stewart to get the W.
Calderan 56 Icenogle 34
-Danny Kessler played well for Team Calderan. Interesting stat: Team Icenogle has scored a total of 8 points this season when Matt Ferro is not in the game, so much for my analysis saying that he isn't a true point guard.
O'Malley 58 Mahan 47
-Will Lamy led the charge for Team O'Malley, while a strong effort from Tim Grove kept Team Mahan within striking distance for a while, but it wasn't enough.
Dawson 50 Stevens 46
-Dawson led 25-13 at halftime and 41-27 with 8 left. Crazy situation with 13 minutes left in the second half: I subbed in, caught the inbounds pass, and promptly drained a long 2 from the corner... on my own basket (....awkward....). Then Team Dawson inbounded the ball (it was supposed to be our ball underneath) took it down the court in a fast break, but missed the layup on their own basket. Conor Enright led the way for Team Dawson with 20. For Team Stevens, Marcelo Guadiana had 9 (including some big free throws), Patrick Stevens had 11, and I had 14. Watch out for Team Stevens in the future!

It should be known that the Icenogle game was actually decently close through the first half, and they would've had a chance at winning if they had pressed the whole game.
