Hill vs. MacLeod-- Saturday, 1:00pm @ MSN
No Tynan MacLeod and no Hunter Lambert means Team MacLeod loses more than 50% of their offensive output from last week. Georges, Hallock, and Birmingham will have to step up if Team MacLeod wants to keep it close. I think they do indeed make it interesting, but LJ Dinkel and the Hill brothers will take advantage of their opponent's offensive struggles, and come out with another win.
Hill 38 MacLeod 32
O'Malley vs. Mahan-- Saturday, 2:20pm @ MSN
Team O'Malley dominated a solid Team Calderan last week, while Team Mahan only had four points at halftime (in comparison, Matt Hannagan had 16 at halftime for Team O'Malley in week one). I don't think Mahan can keep up with O'Malley's prolific offensive attack, so it could get out of hand.
O'Malley 53 Mahan 33
Icenogle vs. Calderan-- Saturday, 3:30pm @ LA
Team Icenogle really had problems on offense last week, scoring just 22 points in a loss to Team Jarboe. In contrast, Team Calderan put up 50 points in a tough loss to Team O'Malley. The return of Big Ben Icenogle should help, but I think Mark Lavallee avenges his poor shooting from last week and leads Team Calderan to an easy win.
Calderan 64 Icenogle 35
Debreceni vs. Stewart-- Saturday, 4:45pm @ LA
Game of the week. The McEvoy versus Robinson matchup should be interesting to watch. Mark should shut down the paint, but I don't think he can cover Dustin outside. Although Robinson is large and physical enough to push McEvoy around a little bit, I think Dustin will have some extra pep in his step after getting accepted to the University of Michigan (congrats bud)!
Debreceni 39 Stewart 38
Fotino vs. Jarboe-- Saturday, 6:00pm @ LA
These two teams are going in completely opposite directions. Team Fotino looked lazy and sluggish in an embarrassing loss to Team MacLeod, while Team Jarboe beat down on Team Icenogle. I think the potential will always be there for Team Fotino, but they don't have the heart to battle for 32 minutes (at least they said they're having fun). I think Griffin Modzelewski has a big game under the prime time lights.
Jarboe 56 Fotino 51
DeLuca vs. Hegeman-- Sunday, 9:00am @ MSN
DeLuca is prepared to come out in a 2-3 zone this week. I am simply going to point out that it is frowned upon in rec, and that I'm not a fan because I think it's too easy. I think it will work great against Team Hegeman. Anthony Cotoni loves to drive to the basket, but the 2-3 zone should clog up the middle and prevent him from driving effectively. I'm guessing Tommy Beal will be there too, so I think DeLuca pulls it out.
DeLuca 50 Hegeman 40
Wright vs. Werner-- Sunday, 10:15am @ MSN
Team Wright's half-court trap defense worked well in creating a lot of turnovers last week. Against Team Werner, I think it will work for a while, but the big advantage for Matt Plausse, Devin Goudey, and Curran Huff in the paint will allow them to squeak out a close one.
Werner 47 Wright 44
Stevens vs. Dawson-- Sunday, 10:15am @ MSS
Team Dawson has a huge size advantage in this game. I don't want to give away our awesome strategy so I'll just go out and say that I think Patrick Stevens will have a good game beyond the arc for Team Stevens, and I anticipate Mackie Enright ripping some rebounds for Team Dawson. Everyone will call me crazy and bias if I pick us to win this game, so I won't, but I think we'll make it interesting and have a chance to pull off the upset in the end.
Dawson 44 Stevens 40

mark robinson wont be coverin dustin, it will either be alex or noah. all debrecini has is dustin while stewart has noah and mark who will both put up big points. im calling the blowout
Tynan MacLeod will be there
umm I will be at my game. I just might not be able to stay the whole time and I might leave a little early.
Hill wins 53-42. Charles and Coleman fouled out with 3 minutes to go leaving team hill with just 4 players. Luckily tynan left early so team hill held off with the win.
Lamy for baller of the week
Timmy G for baller of the week he kept the game interesting
Jarboe took down Fotino in a 55-54 nail-biter.
Modzelewski, Wolfe, and Markham combined for 45, while Hurst, Devarenne, and Denomme led the way for Team Fotino.
Ryan Sheehan went off today vs Werner. Should be baller of the week he was unstoppable from three point land.
Deluca is running a zone and Wright is running a half court trap. What have we done to GD Rec Basketball?
