Week 5 Results

Townsend vs. Willson
58-41
Townsend is officially on a hot streak. They impressively move to 3-2 despite a lousy start to the season. This game was a blowout early on, as Team Willson still continues to struggle. Hank, whether you believe he is good or not, is easily the most entertaining player in the league.

McNamara vs. KK
42-53
KK lucked out this week. Not only did their team virus Casto not show for the second straight week, but McNamara's stars Kasey and Jackson decided not to show up either. Although KK had the upper hand and took care of business against a depleted squad, Curtis Lacombe and Dan De Binder stepped up and came to play, combining for 36 of McNamara's 42 points.

Strauss vs. Booth
45-41
Booth can't catch a break. This game was supposed to be a blowout, but Booth should still be encouraged by their performance. Maybe there is more parity in the league than we realize. Despite the scare, Strauss still was able to get the job done.

Sellers vs. Jarboe
41-52
This game was back and forth, with a spectacular shooting display from Andrew Watkins. The breakout sophomore star caught fire in both halves which propelled Jarboe to a W. Sellers falls to 0-4, as they are still looking for answers.

Southwick vs. Hastings
76-43
I don't know how this happened. Max Phanord and Chris Smith were not hitting on anything from outside, while Millett lit Hastings up. The discipline of the JV players on Team Southwick outmatched the pure rec ball talents of Team Hastings. A second loss for Team Hastings will surely drop them from the number 1 spot.
