11. Booth (-)
Booth was already ranked last, and they lost, so there is no reason for them to move this week. To everyone on Team Booth not named Matt Cota, step it up. He will flourish once he gets some help.
10. Sellers (-3)
As one of two remaining winless teams, this group has to figure it out. The potential is there, as Alex Sellers, Jamie Smith, and Jake Scharn are a legitimate big three. They started off promising this year, but every week they seem to be playing worse. There should be legitimate concern on this team to start heading in the right direction.
9. Willson/Dzwonek (-)
Willson had a bye week this week, so no reason for them to move. They still sit at 9 however, since their one win came against the worst team in the league. We'll see how they perform in Week 5 following the long break.
8. Keast/Kimetto (+2)
Turns out this team is one of the best in the league. Seriously. The only problem is that they have Alex Castellano on their roster, who has just taken over the lead in the Worst Player in the League race. He missed his first game this week, and as a result, his team played the best they have all year. Their chemistry looked better, they went on several runs, and were simply better without his presence.
7. Southwick (-2)
A tough loss for Southwick this week bumps them down a couple ticks. They had about as ugly a finish you'll ever see in a rec game, as they blew a 6 point lead with just 40 seconds remaining. No one can be blamed more for this choke job than their emotional leader YungDad, who, despite his leadership qualities, is still terrible at the game of basketball. We'll see if this squad can develop some consistency.
6. Manzi (-3)
This group almost pulled off a hard-earned dub without their head coach Will "Fat Kid" Manzi, but Kasey Griffiths came to break hearts. Losing on a banked-in three sucks, but rec ball is all about dealing with adversity. It'll be up to how this group can respond after taking a week off to recuperate.
5. Townsend (+1)
Hank made his debut, and is quoted to be "kinda nice" at ball. Townsend now sits at 2-2, and this team is gaining confidence week after week. The return of Nate Townsend will instantly put this team in the conversation of the league's best.
4. McNamara (+4)
Already in the lead for the Ugliest Kid in the League award, Kasey Griffiths immediately put himself back into the heart of the MVP race with a picturesque game winner on Sunday. McNamara looked very promising this week, and played arguably their best game of the season. It'll be up to the point-forward Kasey to lead this team to success.
3. Jarboe (+1)
Jarboe bounced back from a humbling Week 3 loss in dramatic fashion. A win will move you up deservedly in the rankings, but you can't count on meerkats to save the day on a weekly basis. I heard Chase Herberich has been disappointing, but otherwise this team is pretty good.
2. Strauss (-1)
Strauss lost their top spot this week, but they cannot be dropped any further since it was a 1 vs. 2 matchup. The youth of Team Strauss caught up to them this week, as they had no answers for Max Phanord. The long break may be another factor to blame, but this team is staying confident and hungry.
1. Hastings (+1)
Hastings is back on top. Following Max Phanord's historic performance, this team belongs back in this spot. They beat former number 1 Team Strauss, making us all question whether last week's loss was just a fluke. The tandem of Max Phanord and Chris Smith remains terrifying.
