Booth vs. Jarboe
40-34
Yes this really happened. This upset by Team Booth was not only a huge confidence boost for them as they stride into the playoffs, but it also goes to show that any team can be beat on any given day, and the ship is truly there for the taking. This is a message to the basement dwellers, Booth, Willson, and Sellers, yes even Sellers, you can win this thing.
KK vs. Willson
68-60
Willson was shorthanded this game, while KK had all their core players there. KK had control of this game most of the way, and snap their losing streak in time for playoffs. Look for this rematch in the first round of the playoffs, hopefully with Willson's full squad this time.
Townsend vs. Manzi
54-53
Sam Boudreau was inches from immortality in this one. A game that came down to the wire, Kyle Plausse drew a foul with 1.5 seconds on the clock and was able to knock in the game-winning free throw, after Sam's last second heave from half court banked out. Luckily for us all, these two get to go at it again in the quarterfinals on Sunday.
McNamara vs. Strauss
36-58
Strauss is deservedly the favorite to win the championship this year, and they showed why on Sunday. Dougie continues to be a menace on the defensive end while his offensive game is exploding. We'll see if anybody can take them down in the next two weeks.
Sellers vs. Southwick
51-37
Southwick locks in as the 3 seed as Sellers shuts the door on a disappointing regular season. We'll see how the Harrison experiment goes in the playoffs for Team Southwick now that the Meat Wagon is "playing" on a weekly basis.
