Week 8 Predictions

Surprise Y'all, I was looking back at the earlier blog posts and realized that I haven't done these since week 4ish. That's totally my bad and here they are just in time so no one can see them before the games

O'Wiley vs. Manzi
61-37
Team Manzi has proved to be unstoppable, and I don't think this stops in the near future. O'Wiley didn't look all to great last week, and coming back to Team Mazni isn't exactly an ideal thing. I see this one being virtually decided at halftime, and coasted through the rest of the game.

Zolomon vs. Hecht
67-43
Team Zolomon is in a huge slide at the moment. Their bye came at the perfect time, and I think they make a statement with a big time win. This team is capable of scoring and even though they haven't shown it, there's a turnaround sure to come.

Gingras vs. McNamara
43-34
This one can go either way as both teams are coming off solid weeks. I give the edge to Gingras, due to the possibly return of Justin Kav... yeah I'm not going even going to try. Gingras has had defensive struggles and McNamara has had offensive struggles so whoever can overcoming their achilles heel will come out victorious.

Bernard/Hastings vs. Meyers
45-41
Both teams are significantly better in the second half. So after a 6-2 first half, I think Bernard and Meyers will absolutely ball out. Bernard always plays to their opponent, and Meyers is playing with probably the most heart in the league so this will be a good one to watch.

Majkut vs. Strauss
52-33
These are two teams with completely different identities. We have one squad with ideal team chemistry, and another with more inside problems than the Cavaliers. I think Strauss will have no problem taking advantage of this team, and it'll be easy.

Southwick vs. Teduits/Estes
48-40
So this is where the win streak dies. I think both teams will play very solid. but Teduits/Estes will win fairly comfortably. Both teams are trending way upwards, but I think the defensive force and new found offensive firepower of Teduits/Estes will be too much for Southwick to handle.
