Game Picks: Week 6

K Dawson vs Stevens
Score: 45-42 K Dawson
This is the Prime time Sunday game this week 10:15 at Middle School North if people want to take a look at the two unbeatens. I think it will live up to the hype. Dawson will not underestimate Freiter and will be able to control him. Dawson was able to get Ryan Dawson back who will have an impact controlling the paint against Josh Cogswell. The bench for Dawson is just so deep, look for little Cotoni to have a huge role in the game and lead them to victory.

DeLuca vs D Dawson
Score: 48-45 Dawson
Mitch better be ready to play this week because DeLuca gives them a tough matchup. DeLuca played very poorly last week but Dawson has no one that can match up the guard play of Timmy Grove. However Macpherson needs to step up for DeLuca for them to be a successful team. I think Grove will have a big game but it’s tough to be a one man show. The depth of Marken and Wirta will be good for Dawson. Dawson wins a close one.

Stewart vs Jarboe
Score: 40-30 Jarboe
This will be a good game but Stewart hasn’t been playing well as of late. There only real offense is Alex Dhionis and he will be seeing double teams all day when in the post. Jackson Jarboe is going to have to Step up on both ends of the floor against Dhionis. But the floor generals Peter Ellerkamp, Matt Aumais, and Mike Murphy will be able to control the game and get the win.

Walsh vs Mahan
Score: 55-42 Walsh
Mahan has been like Jeckyl and Hyde this season when they actually have their core players at the game they have been successful. But Griffin Modz has been transparent and looks like he’s giving up on the season and a run for a rec championship. Walsh played well against Jarboe last weekend with some questionable reffing. But Tom Denatale is a very underrated  player and is a great shooter, I saw that first hand last weekend. With Ben controlling the floor with Mark Shea chalk up another win for Walsh

Hegeman vs Debreceni
Score:55-40 Hegeman
Hegeman pulled out a close win last week, and is riding a 4 game win streak against Debreceni’s 2 game win streak. Hegeman looks like a real competitor and I don’t see Deb putting up much of a fight. The depth of Hegeman is just to great for Deb to pull of this one.

Naughton vs Stark

Score: 35-25 Naughton
You could say this is Ryan Sheehan vs Matt Hanagan because that’s going to be the majority of points. Stark has just been pitiful all season and believe or not Naughton actually may have more depth than Stark. Ryan will have to really motivate his teammates to be better to pull this off.

Saraceno vs Wright
Score 52-40 Saraceno
Saraceno fought hard last week bringing it down to the last second without Dan Roper. This is a real contender with Doug, Ferro, and Roper leading the team. They will be able to outmatch Wright, AJ hasn’t played great and the two Liebolds are never their together at one time. Saraceno will take this easily.
