Game Picks: Week 4

Wright vs Naughton: Saturday, 8:00am @ LA Court 1
Score: 44-42 Naughton
I think Naughton will be able to achieve their first victory of the season against Team Wright. Team Naughton has Matt Hanagan and it will be tough to match up with him. Hanagan will be able to create opportunities for the shooters Naughton and Kessler and they will pull out a close win.

DeLuca vs Debreceni: Saturday, 8:00am @ LA Court 2
Score: 55-35 DeLuca
Debreceni will have another tough task on hand, playing against Team DeLuca. Karaska and Macpherson will be a good matchup but there is no one who can keep up with Tim Grove. The depth of Team Deluca will be too much to handle and will translate to a win.

Saraceno vs K Dawson: Saturday, 9:20am @ LA Court 1
Score: 52-50 Saraceno
I think this may be the first loss to K Dawson this year. Doug Smith may have a big game and will be able to shut down Joey Stewart. The relentless defense of Dan Roper and Matt Ferro should be able to control the perimeter, and Doug will create three-point opportunities for Ferro and Roper too.

Walsh vs Hegeman: Saturday, 9:20am @ LA Court 2
Score: 55-45 Hegeman
Team Hegeman’s depth is unbelievable with O’Hara, the Hourani’s, Longo, Orlando, and J.P. This team will be able to control the paint and open up the floor for Austin Hourani to hit shots. I think as long as Longo doesn’t get into foul trouble it won’t be too close of a game.

D Dawson vs Jarboe: Saturday, 10:40am @ LA Court 1
Score: 52-48 Dawson
This will be Dawson’s first test without Conor Enright and I think they will just pull it out. The depth of Dawson will be able to outlast Jarboe’s fast pace offense. I think the key is to slow down Jarboe and put them in the half-court offense where they really struggle.

Mahan vs Stevens: Saturday, 10:40am @ LA Court 2
Score: 52-45 Stevens
With Griffin Modz with a bad thumb and Matt Werner on crutches they will not be able to match up well against the big three Patrick Stevens, Doug Rosa, and freshman sensation Nick Freiter. They will be able to push the pace and tire out the inside presence of Icenogle, and the Twin Towers.

Stewart vs Stark: Sunday, 10:15am @ MSN
Score: 50-30 Stewart
If Ryan Sheehan doesn’t show up it may be even worse, however Stark is going to have to get Scott Delforte involved down low and on the perimeter where he is an excellent three-point shooter. Stewart will still be able to dominate this matchup.

Naughton can't win. They're all talk and no show. Kessler is a ball hog. Matt is cold on game days and Greg can't get anything accomplished. The only shining star on that team is Nash who has had a stand out rookie year. Regardless look for another disappointing show by team Naughton.

Absolutely, it's just some trash talk. If the blog writers aren't gonna spit the truth someone else is gonna have to do it for them.
