Scores: Week 5

Intense games for three of the four undefeated teams going into Week 5. Stewart and Hill hung on to get to a perfect 5-0, while Team Wright suffered it's first loss of the season. Check out the updated standings on the sidebar.

DeLuca 45 Mahan 28
-Close game at halftime (17-14). A balanced offensive attack led the way for Team DeLuca. Six different players scored at least six points, including a game-high 11 points for Tommy Beal. On the other side, Greg Dion's 10 points led the way for Team Mahan. *I forgot to mention that Team Mahan was without their first two picks: Mike Shea and Tim Grove.

Stewart 46 Stevens 43
-Tough one to swallow for Team Stevens, as they led 32-20 at halftime, and 43-38 with about 1:15 left. Patrick Stevens drained four 3s in the first sixteen minutes to set the tone. Without Noah Burkholz, Team Stewart had a tough time against the press. However when Team Stevens took a double-digit lead, they had to stop the press, which played into Team Stewart's hands. Willie Stewart converted an and-one with under a minute left, and Mike Casella put Team Stewart up 45-43 with 15 seconds left. Mark Robinson had 17 points.

Calderan 63 MacLeod 57
Team Calderan led 37-32 at halftime, and broke away in the second half, before Team MacLeod mounted a late rally. For Team MacLeod, Devin Goudey stepped in to fill the void left by Tynan MacLeod's wrist injury, scoring 20 points, including three 3s. Hunter Lambert (14), Nick Birmingham (9), Chaz Hallock (8), and Kyle Ames (7) chipped in on offense. For Team Calderan, Mark Lavallee (18), Nick Longo (22), and Kevin Thompson (17) scored 90% of their team's points in the win.

O'Malley 51 Hegeman 42
-Haven't heard much about this game. In other news, Shane O'Malley fractured his fibula and will be out for a while.

Werner 58 Jarboe 31
-Curran Huff scored 24 points to help Team Werner break it's three game losing streak.

Fotino 63 Wright 55
Big upset as 1-3 Team Fotino knocked off 4-0 Team Wright.

Hill 45 Icenogle 30
From the comment section: "The Hill-Icenogle game was much closer than the final score would indicate. At half time, Hill was up 18 to 17. The game was pretty much even until there was 8 minutes left in the game. Team Hill turned up the heat and finally figured out how to make a lay-up. They were snake bit on lay-ups in the first half. Ben Hack and Jeremy Gaissl were the big Hill team scorers in the second half. The Twins were rather inhibited on offense the whole game. For team Icenogle, Big Ben did most of the damage down low. Matt Ferro worked hard to penetrate but the Hill defense slowed him down. The game was fun to watch." --Big thanks to who ever wrote that...

Dawson 48 Debreceni 33

Shane scored the first 12 points for Omalley and they went up 12-0. It wasn't a close game, the score doesn't reflect what the game was like

What is wrong with the website and Why is everyone complaining about how Curran is better than them? I hate how people talk trash through anonymous posts. It's too bad you've got to put up with this crap PJ, I like the website and it fuels me to strive for baller of the week every time I step on the court!!!

I love this website, everyone needs to chill. I think PJ's descriptions are great and all the kids bitching and moaning about it should just leave.
