Power Rankings: Week 2

1.) Calderan (--) Record: 2-0
Won in overtime without there best player. Lavallee stepped it up, he has shown himself to be a formidable first option without Paul Calderan.

2.) Debreceni (+3) Record: 2-0
Took care of business versus Dawson as expected. Big game next Sunday against #3 Jarboe that could solidify their hold on the #2 spot for a while.

3.) Jarboe (+3) Record: 2-0
Beat up on a Sean Baily-less team by really stepping it up on defense holding their opponent to just 27 points. Game next week versus Debreceni will be a huge to see how they measure up.

4.) Burke (+3) Record: 1-1
Got back to what I expected from them the first week: solid defense. Made Team Wright look like Team Wrong (hahaha funny), holding them to just 25 points with their lock down "D."

5.) Smith (+6) Record: 2-0
They have really surprised me so far to be honest. Honkonen has been solid throughout. A big match-up with Burke will show if they're for real or not.

6.) Fotino (-3) Record: 1-1
Really didn't look very good against a Smith team that I'm not completely sold on yet. The refs have good and bad days, but either way you need to pull out a "W."

7.) Stevens (+3) Record: 1-1
Ended the game on a 25-3 run after trailing 37-24 with 1o minutes to play. Really played well as a team to get the job done. Unselfish offense and tight defense down the stretch was huge.

8.) Bailey (-6) Record: 0-2
They didn't have Sean Bailey last weekend, but that being said they looked lost without him. They can't have success if they rely on just one player to carry the scoring load.

9.) Wright (-5) Record: 0-2
I'm still confused about this team. They have some of the best raw talent in the league, so I guess it comes down to playing as a team... which hasn't happened.

10.) Hegeman (-1) Record: 1-1
Lost to Team Calderan without Paul Calderan. If Cotoni isn't going to put up more than 8 points, then they're going to run into trouble.

11.) Lavallee (+1) Record: 1-1
Looked good against a MacLeod team that came out on fire in their week one game. They were able to dictate the tempo and slow Team MacLeod's fast-break offense down.

12.) Dion (+2) Record: 0-2
Played a very strong first 22 minutes, but they were outscored by Team Stevens 25-3 in the final 10 minutes. The addition of Noah Burkholz should really help them out in the future.

13.) MacLeod (-4) Record: 1-1
They beat Stevens in week one by 19 points, but many of those points came off of air-balls and rebounds- including 18 by Kyle Ames. When that crazy stuff didn't happen, the result was a solid loss to Lavallee. They could get better if Tynan MacLeod can step up as a go-to scorer.

14.) Dawson (-1) Record: 0-2

For a team that prides itself on defense, allowing a league season high 55 points is not going to get the job done. Still need to find a go-to scorer.

dude lavallee deserved more than one up in the rankings. we schooled macleod, and found our strategy for the rest of the season.

ya i would keep your eye on that lavallee team

Team Wright scored well over 25 points last game. That result is wrong. They had 21 at the half.

the 25pts is what the league gave me soooooooo thats technically the "official score"

team lavallee should be higher up, Beal and Kieleczawa combined for half there teams points, and adding in Ben Icenogle's points, those three combined for more points then the entire macleoud team in total. i think that they should at least be at 8 or 9.

BURKE IS A REBOUNDING MACHINE

With all the height on the team Burke should be a rebounding machine.
