Finally! I have the guard and forward rankings, which I calculated by averaging out the votes from 13 different people for guards, and 15 different people for forwards (both including myself this time). Overall the rankings were pretty widespread in that there was no definite number one choice. It's also interesting to note that the highest ranked guard had less #1 votes than the 2nd place guard, but Wilkinson's higher ranking is due to a lower average vote. Anyway, here they are: (The decimal is the average ranking, and in parentheses is the number of #1 votes.)
GUARDS
1. Brandon Wilkinson- 3.36 (3)
2. Mike Devarenne- 3.54 (4)
3. Shane O'Malley- 3.58 (3)
4. Aaron Honkonen- 4.36 (2)
5. Tynan MacLeod- 4.42
6. Anthony Cotoni- 4.70 (1)
7. Mark Lavallee- 5.75
8. Sean Bailey- 6.00
9. Tommy Beal- 7.25
10. Kyle DeLuca- 7.75
11. Tim Grove- 7.60
12. John Denomme- 8.00
Honorable Mentions: Conor Enright, Jared Dawson, Drew Estabrook, Cam Finnell, Charlie Burke, Patrick Stevens, Griffin Modzelewski, Rick Liebold, Jack Liebold
FORWARDS

2. Ryan Langell- 2.2 (5)
3. Devin Goudey- 2.33 (4)
4. Zach Hurst- 3.82
5. Geoff Mueller- 4.25
T6. Doug Smith- 4.67
T6. Kevin Thompson- 4.67

#1 baby
Shane O'Malley should be #2
the forward rankings are awful. They have the order all screwed up
wow forward rankings are terrible. doug smith should be 5th and geoff mueller shouldnt even be there...
yeah the problem is there is a very fine line between guards and forwards that is very difficult to distinguish. some guards (like cotoni) could be considered forwards, and some forwards (like smith) could be considered guards.
sean bailey is a lot higher than 8th. he should at least be top 3 or 4
zach hurst before doug smith? Doug smith should be in front of devin goudey
Mark L should definetly be in front of Aaron Honkanan no question....and agreed sean bailey should be way higher
Goudey eats smith for breakfast
omg whoever thinks that mark lavallee is better than aaron is sooo wrong. i would take aaron over anyone in the league... his team won last year and mine didnt and he was only a freshman.
chris lavallee may i remind you that aaron did have the powerhouse also known as ben houston last year. no one could stop him. that team was stacked anyways. the lavallee team should have won though because of the buzzer beater did not count but that is old news. were in a new year now
id take ML over aaron becasue of his height and the deep threat. chris lavallee you know nothing.
I definately like cauldron at the number one spot of forwards because of his ability to create shots through his rebounding skill. Also he is a solid hardworking defender. Wilkinson as the number one guard I agree with because of his defense, shooting, ball handling, and knowledge of the game. I'd like to see Macleod ranked higher on the guard list. He made a lot of noise on JV last year.
hills are the best freshman rec bballers
Aaron honkenen is trash, if you amputated his right arm he would not play any differently. IF yo u make him go right he will have 0 points
devin goudey's my boy
guarantee all of these will change as the season escalates
heated topic. Mark deserves to be in front of aaron first of all. and whoever questioned the doug smith in front of zach hurst ranking is completely wrong. doug is not a forward because he is not tall enough, he is not a guard because he doesn't have good enough ball handleing. Zach would jump over doug. and doug being above devin is the worst opinion I have ever heard. None of you are knowledgeable rec ballers
Will Lamy is not a forward, all he does is shoot threes
